An eccrine poroma is a rare, benign neoplasm of the epidermal sweat duct. Most commonly, eccrine poromas can arise on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet, and more rarely on the chest, nose, and neck. To date, only one other case notes the presence of a benign eccrine poroma on the nipple. Herein, we present the case of a 35-year-old Caucasian female with a single, erythematous, pedunculated, soft papule on the left superior nipple, growing over the course of 4 weeks. After physical examination, the differential diagnoses included verruca vulgaris, Paget’s disease, or other unspecified neoplasm. However, pathological findings of the biopsied lesion revealed features in line with an eccrine poroma. Given its diverse clinical presentation, anatomic location, and potential for malignant transformation into eccrine porocarcinoma, this case underscores the importance for clinicians to gain a comprehensive understanding of eccrine poromas and determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patient.
