Biography

Shuai Li, MD, PhD, FAHA is a Pathology resident (AP/CP) and Clinical Instructor at Creighton University School of Medicine, and an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, with a career focus in Dermatopathology and Vascular Pathology. He combines diagnostic training with a rigorous translational research background, with ongoing work in melanoma, autophagy, dermal fibrosis, and skin cancer biomarkers. Recognized as a Fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA), Dr. Li has received multiple national awards for his contributions to research, education, and scientific presentation, and has served as Principal Investigator, Co-PI, or Co-Investigator on several funded projects. His work has been presented nationally and published in dermatopathology and vascular pathology, and he remains actively engaged in collaborative research across institutions. Dr. Li will continue his subspecialty training as a Dermatopathology Fellow in 2027–2028, pursuing a career that integrates diagnostic expertise with a passion for research, teaching, and innovation.
